14 - 20 July, 2023
course fee: 400,000 HUF.
You will learn how to make different types of handmade porcelain flowers and floral elements such as leaves, pistils or individual petals.
You will be able to make delicate bouquets or use the flowers as single decorative elements. With Noemi's inspiration you will develop your own ways to apply the technique to your own vision.
The purpose of this course is to acquire the knowledge to create your own personal language of flowers.
At the beginning of each session, demos will be shown, delivering a thorough and explanation of each step. Then, there will be an individual follow-up, adapting the technique to the specific needs and knowledge of each participant, repeating the steps as many times as necessary.
A kurzuson elsajátíthatod hogyan lehet különböző típusú kézzel készített porcelán virágokat, leveleket, virágszirmokat létrehozni.
Bemutatásra kerül a finom csokrok készítése, illetve a virágok önálló díszítőelemként való használata.
Noemi Iglesias (1987) is a Spanish artist working with sculptural media and long-durational performative formats.
In her work, she reproduces the traditional technique of porcelain flowers to outline the current commodification of falling in love and how emotional patterns are socially assumed as comercial icons in the production of a romantic utopia where sentimental experiences are presented through specific products transforming emotional patterns into consumerist strategies.
Since 2009 she has lived and worked in Greece, England, Finland, Italy, Hungary, China and Korea. In 2019 she finished her Master Degree at the Tainan National University of the Arts, where she researched on contemporary ceramic practices. Noemi Iglesias’ work is found in international collections and she has been invited to symposiums and featured in magazines. Besides working on her performances and installations she loves to teach.
Recently, her work has been exhibited at the Gimhae Clayarch Museum (KR), The Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art (TW), Alcora Ceramics Museum, CERCO International Ceramics Competition, Vendrell Ceramics Biennial (SP), Espacio Líquido – La Gran Gallery and the JustMad Contemporary Art Fair (SP).
A kézzel készített porcelánvirágok előállítása olyan ipari dekorációs technika, melyet a 19.
2019-ben fejezte be mesterképzését a Tainan Nemzeti Művészeti Egyetemen, ahol kortárs kerámiával foglalkozott. Noemi Iglesias munkái megtalálhatóak nemzetközi gyűjteményekben, meghívást kapott szimpóziumokra, szakmai folyóiratokban szerepelt. Előadásai és installációi mellett szívesen tanít.
A közelmúltban munkáit a Gimhae Clayarch Múzeum (KR), a Taipei Kortárs Művészeti Múzeum (TW), az Alcora Kerámia Múzeum, a CERCO Nemzetközi Kerámia Verseny, a Vendrell Kerámia Biennálé (SP), az Espacio Líquido - La Gran Galéria és a JustMad Kortárs Művészeti Vásár (SP) állította ki.
