The International Ceramics Studio are pleased to be one of eight partners from 6 countries involved in this project. Together with partners TUCEP, AEuCC and V. Calo secondary institute in Italy, Manises School of Art in Spain, Forssan Secondary school in Finland, ZSOiZ School, Boleslawiec, Poland and Letovice Art School in Czech Republic we will be working on this project for two years.

CERASMUS+ project intends to promote and develop vocational training in ceramic craft industry, developing work based educational models and implementing networking, innovative design while recognising traditional ceramic heritage.

The CERASMUS project is aimed to:

a) Create a European network of ceramics stakeholders (vocational education providers, craft businesses, public authorities, cultural institutions, research centres) for analysing and exploiting the needs of the ceramics sector.

b) Combine ceramics tradition with innovative design and production techniques.

c) Revise and innovate vocational education in the ceramics sector through work based learning models to strengthen the cultural, social and economic value of ceramics in society.

Congratulations to Ceramics Studio founder János Probstner.

A well deserved acknowledgement of his great work over the years and his legacy in the Ceramics Studio, which continues the work of supporting, promoting and fostering intercultural relationships through the medium of ceramics.

The European Citizen's Prize is intended to be an award for exceptional achievements in the activities or actions by citizens, groups, associations or organisations having displayed an outstanding commitment to promoting better mutual understanding and closer integration between citizens of the Member States; or to facilitating cross- border or transnational cooperation within the European Union.
